Summer 2010

Summer has been a busy time around the farm. New pens have been added and we have given tours and visited schools with our farm animals. Upon request, we ran our rent a chick program on a very limited basis and all the chicks have returned home. The spring chicks and ducklings have gotten so big and will be laying eggs in a month or so. We look forward to meeting new friends of Sparta Mountain Farm in the fall as we continue educating the public about the benefits of agriculture and farming.
