Fall 2011

I cannot believe today is the first day of Fall - how fast the seasons change! Summer was very busy here on Sparta Mountain Farm with children signed up for programs and camp. All seemed to have a great time and are looking forward to next summer's camp and events. We added many babies to our farm and sent a few of our animals off to other farms to be enjoyed by others. We are busy now getting the farm ready for the long winter that will be here shortly. Pens have been added, water buckets are ready to be connected, and feed storage has begun. Fall is always such a great season here on the farm - leaves changing colors, a briskness to the air, and the scurrying of small animals getting ready for winter.
