Our Meet the Animals Outreach Educational program is an interactive hands-on educational program about farm animals that works well in any educational setting whether it is a childcare center, an elementary school, camp, or educational organization. We are insured and I hold a certificate as a teacher of English as well as a teacher of students with disabilities in the state of New Jersey.

Our educational program not only gets children up close to the animals, but it also provides them with the answers to questions such as • What is the difference between a duck's foot and a chicken's? • What products and tools can be made from a goat? • How does a chicken form inside an egg and how does it get out? • Will a lamb shrink when it becomes wet? • What animal produces felt and how is it different from wool? • What does a chicken's wing look like from underneath? • Where does lanolin come from?

These and many other questions will be answered in this unique, interactive educational program. As the children experience life on the farm, they will meet a friendly lamb named Mary, a well-behaved potbelly pig named Daisy, a playful goat, exotic chickens and delightful ducks. They will learn about the food these animals eat, how we at Sparta Mountain Farm care for them, and what role they play on our farm. Students will be able to feel various items produced by these wonderful animals as they learn about them. Students will also have the opportunity to pet these gentle animals.
